This is our list of the best restaurants in Jeddah for August 2026, ranked in a way you may not be used to. At Raddod we do not rely on the average star score shown on Google. Instead we read only the written reviews — the ones where a visitor actually described their experience in words — and then apply a statistical adjustment that balances how good the experience was against how many people wrote about it. The result is a ranking built on what people actually said, not a silent star tap.
The Raddod team analyzed a database of 1,483 public businesses and 205,954 reviews across the Kingdom to produce this list. Below are the top 10 restaurants in Jeddah, with every figure shown transparently: the Raddod rating, the Google rating, the tier, the number of written reviews we analyzed, and a confidence level on every single row.

Why do some Raddod ratings differ from Google?
You may notice that some businesses carry a Raddod rating that differs from their Google rating. This is not an error; it is a difference in what each number measures:
- Raddod measures only written reviews. We read the reviews where the author wrote real words about their visit.
- Google averages every rating — including silent star-only taps with no comment attached.
- People who write a review behave differently from people who just tap a star. That is why Social Cafe reads 4.0 on Google but 4.73 here, and Ramesses reads 4.0 on Google versus 4.75 on Raddod.
- Neither number is wrong. They simply measure different things.

What does the confidence level mean?
Confidence reflects how much of a business's total review base we have analyzed — the share of written reviews we hold relative to all of the business's Google reviews:
- High: we hold 10 percent or more of their reviews.
- Moderate: between 3 and 10 percent.
- Limited: under 3 percent.
An important clarification: a Limited label does not mean the business is bad. It means our sample is small relative to their total, so treat the exact position of that business with caution.
Example: Urth Caffé has 16,341 Google reviews, and we analyzed just 155 written ones. That is under 1 percent, so it reads Limited — despite its strong standing.
Who appears in the ranking? The eligibility bar
Not every business appears in these lists automatically. To be included in the ranking, a business needs at least 10 written reviews — the minimum that gives us a reliable picture of the visitor experience.
That is why not every business qualified: out of 738 restaurants in Jeddah, 297 qualified to appear in the ranking. The rest are either new or do not yet have enough written reviews.

What do the tiers (S, A+, A) mean?
The tier summarizes where a business sits within its peer group of similar businesses in the same city and category. Tier S means the business is in the top 5 percent of its peer group, A+ the top 15 percent, A the top 30 percent, then B+ and B for the middle positions, and C for the rest of the group. A high tier like S does not mean perfection — it means the written reviews place the business ahead of its direct peers.
How to read this list
The best way to use this ranking is to read three numbers together: the Raddod rating tells you the quality of the written experience, the tier places that quality in the context of its peers, and the confidence level tells you how large the sample behind the judgment is. A business with a high rating and high confidence is the most solidly placed on the list, while a business with limited confidence may be excellent but rests on a smaller sample relative to its total reviews. Read all three together — do not rely on a single number to form your opinion.
