📊 Transparent Methodology

How Raddod Scores Work

Raddod analyzes Google reviews to help businesses understand their reputation and ranking within their market. Our methodology is designed to be fair, consistent, and evidence-based.

Raddod Rating

The Raddod Rating is the average star rating from qualifying written reviews — reviews containing actual customer feedback, not just a star tap. This provides a more meaningful signal than a simple average that includes anonymous star-only ratings.

💪

Health Score (0-100)

The Health Score combines multiple signals from your customer reviews into a single number from 0 to 100 using our proprietary formula.

70–84Good
55–69Average

Tiers

Tiers reflect your percentile position within your peer group — businesses in the same category and city. A business in C tier is not necessarily performing poorly in absolute terms — it may simply be in a very competitive market.

Evidence Confidence

Evidence Confidence tells you how much to trust a score. Two businesses with the same rating may have very different confidence levels depending on how many reviews they have, how recent they are, and how consistently they arrive over time.

🟢
High Confidence
Strong, recent, and well-distributed review evidence over time
🟡
Moderate Confidence
Decent evidence with some gaps in volume, recency, or distribution
🔴
Limited Confidence
Few reviews, old reviews, or reviews concentrated in one short period
📊

Rankings

Public rankings use a proprietary statistical method that accounts for review volume. A business with 4 reviews at 5.0 stars does not automatically outrank one with 5,000 reviews at 4.8 stars. Our method ensures businesses with more review evidence are ranked more accurately.

⚠️

Insufficient Evidence

When a business does not have enough qualifying written reviews to produce a reliable score, we show Insufficient Evidence instead of assigning a potentially misleading tier or rating. This is not a negative judgment — it simply means we need more data before we can rank the business fairly.

Data Sources

All scores are based on Google reviews collected and analyzed by Raddod. Review data is refreshed regularly. Scores reflect the selected time period and peer group at the time of calculation.
